I was initially excited about Inna performing in Seattle as I had just moved to the area. The concert doors opened at 8 pm and the crowd was already gathering. The initial DJ's were a mix of current remixes and some bland techno overtones. Yolanda made a surprise appearance around 10 pm much to the crowd's excitement. The expectation was she was the lead in for Inna. This was not the case. Yolanda disappeared as quickly as she had emerged. As midnight approached, the crowd's energy seemed to dissipate. The venue offered nothing more than standing room only for non VIP members and after 4 hours, still no Inna. Around 12:30 am, Inna finally entered and the crowd (what was left) definitely cheered her on. Her performance was short lived. As tired as I and my date were, we stuck it out to hear two particular songs that were sung within the first 4 songs. Afterwards, we left. What we found out the next day is that Inna only performed 5 songs and also left. For such a popular singer among her fans, many have posted online that though the venue was marketed as Inna centric, it wasn't. She could've fleshed out more of the concert by coming out earlier and interacting with the DJ's, thus making a more personable performance or allowing the crowd to hear her incredible singing voice with other popular songs or adhoc lyrics with the DJ's. Instead, the concert didn't so much seems as an Inna concert as it seemed a night of techno dancing with an Inna quirp. Hope she enhances her future concerts as respect to her dedicated fans who definitely want more. On a positive note, Inna could definitely work a crowd into excitement with only her voice as it will melt both men and women's hearts and her singing voice was spot on and not the subject of audio remixing. I'm sure all fans are begging for more original content from this talented singer.
